Bronze Flying Horse Table Lamp red and mustard on aThese cast bronze horses are copies of one unearthed in Gansu province in 1969 that dates from the Han dynasty (206BC 220AD). The original is now in the Gansu Provincial Museum, but these are faithful reproductions. Referred to as the 'Flying Horse of Gansu' the horse is shown in mid gallop, with one of it's hooves on a swallow.
