Spring snowstorms provide some great contrast in the Denver of winter and spring

This is a 30 second image with the moon light allowing the detail of the mountains to show in the image

During a visit to Missoula in 2009 I headed up to Lolo Pass on the Montana/Idaho state line along Route 12 with a small group of photographers/friends to capture some of the morning light

On a November afternoon

I stopped to photograph the small barn and when walking up the road for a different angle noticed an area by a gate where you could look down the length of the fence

Umbrellas in the Sky Size:11"x14" Spring snowstorms provide some greatAs I explored Quebec City, I found a small street in the Lower Old Town which had umbrellas hanging the small area. Over the course of two days I visited this street multiple times to capture the colorful umbrellas with a different sky as a background. On my final day in Quebec City it was a nice clear day which allowed me to have a constant background but also position the sun to allow it to show just a little bit behind one of the umbrellas.
