The tree above is one I first found in early 2008 and went looking for it in the snow

which means the nice light you will find for photography is limited to a few months of the year

I pulled over on the side of the road and had about 10 minutes of opportunity to photograph the scene prior to the road drying out

I went to the Denver Botanical Gardens during the Blossom of Lights event which is held in December each year

With the snowiest months in the Denver in March and April you never know when spring will truly arrive though.
