略歴と作陶の歴史

丹波焼は六古窯の一つとして平安期より連綿と技を継ぎ、侘び茶の隆盛とともに黒釉茶碗の名器を数多く輩出してきました。正元直作様の「直作窯」は、その古陶の精神を現代に継承する最古参の窯元の一つ。赤松薪の還元炎で焼き締める伝統的登窯の炎は、今なお野趣あふれる景色を器面に刻み込みます。
