Using a shallow depth of field (in the not so shallow waters)

After spending some time at the location I thought of some new ideas to photograph in the area and will be back in the upcoming weeks to try those ideas out with my camera

One evening I was photographing "behind" Green Mountain in Lakewood

This volcano sits below a glacier which would melt and generate flooding in a short period of time along the coast

This morning it turned to be foggy in the park and provided a new perspective to capture the city skyline through the park

The Red Forest Building Using a shallow depth ofUnderneath the Millennium Bridge is a sculpture by Australian artist Konstantin Dimopoulos. I first noticed this piece just after it was installed and made a point to go back and check it out when I was in the area again. Playing with some camera motion to bring out the lines of the sculpture was my inspiration in this photograph.
